The Zumba instructor for my Saturday class has an eclectic playlist and a couple of the songs are in French. It dawned on me that while I failed to seriously pursue Spanish while in high school, it doesn't mean that I can't try to pick it up again, duh...
I have been in such a mood.
Did restorative yoga at work yesterday and we did the Breath of Joy. Not a lot of teachers do this particular exercise. I enjoy it every time so I need to put this in my bag of tricks.
Went to yoga after work and Stacy talked about Santosha (contentment). It was definitely a topic that was important for me to hear today.

A Much Bigger Journey Or Month-End Review, March
The song that flows through my head most often these days is Big and Chunky. I've gained a considerable of amount of weight back. I'm indulging myself and can't seem to stop. What I'm not going to do is beat myself up right now -- maybe later. :)
So glad that I went through my little weight loss journey which turned into a a much bigger journey. I've changed and I credit a big part of the change to yoga and bodywork. While I'm not pleased that I've regained weight, I'm pleased with what I found along the way -- greater contentment...
Didn't get to ride my bike last weekend because of the weather so it was nice to bicycle to work today. Looking forward to more outdoor activities -- yoga, climbing et al.

I Want What Ellen Wants
Thing one...not talking about the root chakra -- associated with survival and security or maybe I am. I lost one pound and it's ridiculous how satisfied I feel.
First, the scale moved and not in the direction that I wanted and the needle stayed in the same place -- apparently stuck.
I've tweaked the diet a bit and I've tried to make more of a commitment to discomfort i.e. high intensity interval training.
I feel better. I think my clothes fit better. We'll see.
I've been into Sleek Sculpt Express lately. It's a 30 minute workout but I usually tack on bonus exercise as well. In my world, I feel more comfortable when I can get in at least 60 minutes of exercise.
Almost each time that I exercise with Ellen Barrett, her words capture my attention:
I want what Ellen wants. Her comfort talk reminds me of a season two episode of Louie. Louis CK's character says that he only has the stamina for a life of comfort.
Went to a fundamental yoga class this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt so content afterward; thanks Elle for guiding...

I think of movement as a treat.
If you need to sit on the floor, you can do it...If you need to carry a heavy bag, you can do it...If you need to sprint through the airport, you can do it.
I want to be highly functional. In essence, I want my comfort zone to be large.
I want you to feel invigorated not irritated.
