This book was not on my radar until Farty Girl mentioned a veggie burger recipe in it.
I've so enjoyed this book. Even the cover moves me.
I tried the veggie burger recipe first. I don't think that I've found the ultimate veggie burger but I liked it -- especially since it had a level of moistness that two other recipes did not.
I had fun making recipes in this book. I tend to have a knack for finding recipes that require a lot of preparation but I was able to get in and out of the kitchen in no time with these concoctions.
Can't wait to make falafel and walnut burger patties. I'm so in the zone that I might even try my hand at almond milk.
Oh boy all that looks good!
ReplyDeletePersonally I hate almond milk, but a lot of people swear by it. I swear at it.
gingersnapper,
ReplyDeleteLOL about the almond milk.
I was pretty happy with the recipes. I have everything but lemons for the falafel which I plan to make tomorrow. ;)
OMG I'm soooo glad you like it!!! Alex is a genius, isn't she? Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you mentioned it. I haven't had this much fun with a cookbook in a long time.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, what else do you have on your bookshelf?

ReplyDeleteblack bean and sweet potato chili-yumm! i always say i'm gonna make that and never do. i end up eating all the sweet potatoes in the house with cinnamon and pb. no self control i tell ya. once the weather cools off,i'll try to make that chili again :)
Heather,
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you tell me about the little pizzas? :)
