I was really bummed that it didn't get really warm this summer. My state of mind had everything to do with my recently acquired swimming skills. I was jonesing to swim outdoors so that I could do the back crawl while watching the birds and the clouds.I felt like we went from fall to fall but I was genuinely happy to see pomegranates, a definite reason to celebrate fall. I've only seen small ones so far but I'll take what I can get.
